A Special Author Visit with Suzanne Nelson for 4th & 5th Graders

10/14/2026 10:23 am

Meet Author Suzanne Nelson on November 12!

Suzanne Nelson Headshot

We’re excited to welcome author Suzanne Nelson to Scotland Elementary on Thursday, November 12, for a special author visit for 4th and 5th graders!

Suzanne is the author of more than a dozen middle-grade and young adult novels, including RV There Yet?, A Tale Magnolious, and the popular Cake Pop Crush “foodie” series. Her book You’re Bacon Me Crazy was adapted into a romantic comedy for the Hallmark Channel, and her young adult novel Serendipity’s Footsteps was named a Sydney Taylor Honor Book. Before becoming a full-time author, Suzanne spent eight years as a children’s book editor in New York City. She now lives with her family right here in Ridgefield, Connecticut!

Interested in ordering a book? Families are invited to purchase books for students to enjoy and have signed during the author visit. All book orders must be submitted by Sunday, October 25.

Click here to order books through the PTA order form by 10/25.
