SES After School Enrichment

Welcome to the Winter 2026 After School Enrichment program! This exciting opportunity allows students to explore new activities and skills. Classes will be held at school from 3:25-4:30 pm. Please ensure prompt pickup at 4:30 pm in the school lobby as there is no bus service available. Late arrivals will incur a late fee of $10.

Class Schedule

Cost: $210 for 8 weeks and $160 for six weeks

Class Offerings

Monday Sports Mix (Grades 1-5) 1/26, 2/2, 2/9, 2/23, 3/2, 3/9, 3/16, 3/23

• Instructor: Mr. Truchsess, Scotland Physical Ed teacher
• Description: Engage in sports like basketball, floor hockey, kickball, and soccer. Students are grouped by age/skill level.

Monday Let Play Grow Club (Grades K-5) 1/26, 2/2, 2/9, 2/23, 3/2, 3/9, 3/16, 3/23

• Instructor: Mrs. Wronski & Mrs. Hamann
• Description: Encourage resilience and social skills through self-directed play.

Monday Magic (Grades 1-5) 1/26, 2/2, 2/9, 2/23, 3/2, 3/9, 3/16, 3/23

• Instructor: Tom O’Brien, professional magician
• Description: Learn magic tricks and receive a magic kit and wand.

Monday 3D Design (Grades 3-5) 1/26, 2/2, 2/9, 2/23, 3/2, 3/9, 3/16, 3/23

• Instructor: Brooklyn Robot Foundry
• Description: Become a digital designer, creating objects using 3D modeling software.

Monday Chess (Grades 2-5) 1/26, 2/2, 2/9, 2/23, 3/2, 3/9

• Instructor: Glenn Budzinski from CKPCI
• Description: Improve skills in math and reading through supervised chess play.
• Note: Chess will be held for only six weeks rather than eight

Wednesday Kids for Kids (Grades K-5) 1/28, 2/4, 2/11, 2/25, 3/4, 3/11, 3/18, 3/25

• Instructors: Ms. Donovan and Mrs. Osher
• Description: Participate in projects that benefit others and spread kindness.

Wednesday Glee Club (Grades K-5) 1/28, 2/4, 2/11, 2/25, 3/4, 3/11, 3/18, 3/25

• Instructor: Linda Feola
• Description: Perform on stage, working on voice techniques, harmonies, and dance moves.

Wednesday Karate (Grades K-5) 1/28, 2/4, 2/11, 2/25, 3/4, 3/11, 3/18, 3/25 

• Instructor: SDSS Martial Arts of Ridgefield
• Description: Learn basic martial arts skills and values such as honesty and self-discipline. Includes a white belt and an extra weekly class at the studio.

Wednesday Robot Engineers (Grades K-5) 1/28, 2/4, 2/11, 2/25, 3/4, 3/11, 3/18, 3/25

• Instructor: Brooklyn Robot Foundry
• Description: Design and build robots, enhancing engineering skills through play.

• Registration Deadline: Saturday, January 24th at noon (no late registrations)
